that distinguish them from their native‐English‐speaking peers,

“it is possible [for ELs] to achieve the standards for college‐andcareer

readiness” (NGA Center & CCSSO, 2010b, p. 1).

Doddridge County's Language Instruction Educational Program Site

 

This program is in place to connect students and their families with resources that will help with development in English language proficiency and  provide information about school and community events. 

Furthermore, it is a resource for Educators for Instructional materials and resources in understanding second language acquisition.
